Welcome to The Jaeger Fund! Here is where concerned dog lovers can learn about current dog topics that shelters are faced with as well as those topics that are hotly debated by others.

The Jaeger Fund is made up of shelter volunteers who have found a way to help animals in need by making it fun and exciting. We volunteer to walk dogs, help put on social events, foster dogs not yet ready for adoption, give the dogs and shelter publicity, and educate others about current topics.

We hope to give you an inside look at what it is to be a volunteer, what they are faced with in their work, and how they overcome obstacles. Many of the topics included are written through our experiences working at the shelters and taking care of the dogs. Each of the dogs has their own battle and their own way of dealing with it. If we are to help them find their perfect homes, we need to understand their battles. Included in this site are what we have come to understand about the animals we work with and how we have helped them become adoptable.

We encourage fellow dog lovers to volunteer and most of all, have fun with it. The best way to help dogs in need is to always go to work with a smile on your face. Positive attitudes and good outlooks on the future not only help the animals deal with their predicament, but add to your life-saving powers.

By following our course through volunteer stresses, problem solving, and fun, we hope to spread the kindness.
